The BFI is seeking aSenior Guest Transport Coordinator to join the London Film Festival team.

Fixed term contract 20 September – 29 October 2021

The BFI London Film Festival Senior Guest Transport Coordinator works within a busy team responsible for facilitating a first-class ground transport service for Festival filmmakers, VIP guests, staff and Festival deliveries.

The Guest Transport Team works closely with the Festival Production Manager,Festivals Producer, Programme & Guest Services Team, driver agency and taxi providers to ensure a welcoming, well-organised and timely transport experience between a range of London cinemas, reception venues, airports, hotels and red carpet events. The Senior Guest Transport Coordinator supports the Guest Transport Manager with implementation of an efficient and sustainable ground transport strategy, and oversees the Guest Transport Coordinators.

With excellent knowledge of London’s transport links, the successful candidate will have experience of working in transport coordination, a film festival or similar event. You will have proven experience of overseeing a team, with excellent administrative and problem solving skills. You will be a strong communicator and have the ability to deal effectively with people at all levels, while prioritising and managing changing deadlines.

The ability to work flexible hours, including evening and weekend work during the Festival, is essential to the role.

The role is predominantly based at BFI Southbank, however, in response to the current Covid-19 pandemic all team members are currently working remotely from home until the foreseeable future.
