Job Description
We are looking for an Employee Relations Advisor to join our People Hub Team based at Stockton on Tees to provide expert Employee Relations case management support across our business and support on a project on a fixed-term basis. You will be responsible for a range of complex and sensitive cases, as well as working on project-based activities, which includes restructures, policy development and training. The role will be hybrid, working between the office and from home.

What you’ll be doing:
· Provision of ER case support to the business, ensuring timely and effective resolution of cases
· Advise and coach managers on how best to handle ER situations effectively, supporting managers in using the full range of HR policies e.g. grievance, disciplinary, to ensure matters are handled appropriately and in line with legislative and organisational requirements
· Establish and maintain internal/external customer relationships to ensure a high level of service is provided
· Collate and provide information to ensure accuracy of reporting or to meet internal/external client requirements
· Deliver training sessions/workshops to people managers to improve ER skills and knowledge within the business
· Involvement in adhoc projects to support business strategic aims i.e. employee engagement and new business
· Supporting with employee communications as required for key people initiatives or projects
· Collation, interpretation, and analysis of data on key people metrics
· Provision and manipulation of data within excel on an adhoc and project basis as required
· Project due diligence i.e. for TUPE transfers
What you’ll bring:
· Strong ER experience in a large, complex organisation across a range of case types
· An understanding of relevant laws and regulations and ability to apply them to situations in the workplace
· Strong communication skills - coaching, influencing and presenting information both verbally and in writing
It would be great if you had:
· Previous experience in a shared service environment
· Level 5 CIPD
· Experience of using a case management system
