Role Description

Based in London, the Senior HR Manager will support all of NEON's events and shows in Europe, overseeing the full range of HR functions while reporting operationally to Senior Management at the Group Level and Country head at local level. This role includes managing recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and compliance, ensuring alignment with both business objectives and venue-specific needs. The manager will also coordinate administrative operations, including office management and vendor relations, to ensure seamless event execution. Strong leadership, strategic planning, and the ability to manage dynamic, event-driven environments are essential for success in this role. This role also functionally reports into Group HR in Singapore.


Role Responsibilities

HR Management:

  • Lead the recruitment process from job posting to onboarding to attract top talent.
  • Oversee employee relations, performance management, and disciplinary actions.
  • Ensure compliance with labour laws, regulations, and company policies.
  • Implement HR strategies that align with the organization’s objectives.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture.


Administrative Operations:

  • Manage day-to-day administrative operations, including office management, vendor relations, and facilities management.
  • Support the planning and execution of NEON's events and shows across Europe.
  • Coordinate with local Country Head to ensure seamless event delivery.
  • Handle logistics for meetings, site visits, and other venue-related activities.


Reporting and Communication:

  • Provide regular reports on HR metrics, employee performance, and administrative activities.
  • Maintain effective communication with all stakeholders, including internal teams and external partners.
  • Collaborate with local Country Head on operational needs and event requirements.


Strategic Planning:

  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Support the development and execution of long-term HR and administrative strategies.


Required Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher + equivalent work experience
  • 8-10 years of experience in HR management, preferably within the events or hospitality industry.
  • Experience working in large-scale venues or with complex event operations.
  • CIPD qualification or equivalent.
  • Strong knowledge of UK labour laws and HR best practices.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
