Senior Infrastructure Engineer
We have a Dynamic and Agile approach to working and we are looking to add a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to our team to allow us to continue to be as successful as possible when it comes to providing IT Solutions for our growing client base.
Salary up to £50,000 DOE
1 x per week in office in Plymouth (can be flexible)
UK Based ONLY
Firewalls, VMware, AHV, Virtualisation Platforms, SAN, Hyperconverged, PowerShell, Microsoft Azure, Python
Senior Infrastructure Engineer Overview:
Throughout your role you will be providing assistance to ensure that we are adhering to best practices and compliance standards.
You will be required to provide advice surrounding projects to ensure our infrastructure is maximised to reach it's full potential.
You will be involved with risk management processes which allows us to reach our full business potential as you will be taking into account Data, technology, failures and business changes.
Throughout your role you will be working to provide solutions and provide technical advice on which approach we should take, ensuring we continue to work to a high standard and all solutions are supported and well documented.
You will be working closely with your colleagues and where necessary you will provide coaching and mentoring to more junior members of the team.
Provide estimations for work and ensure these estimations are met
Work with other teams to maximise IT Infrastructure performance

Senior Infrastructure Engineer Requirements:
In depth experience of switching and routing
Extensive knowledge of storage and computer technologies
Knowledge of Virtualisation platforms
Ability to manage and maintain firewalls
Commercial experience working with VMware and AHV in a Virtual Host capacity
Knowledge of the following, Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, Windows Server, Static and Dynamic Routing, Load Balancing
Understanding of multiple IT areas including 1st, 2nd and 3rd Line support
Ability to liaise with the wider team including Project Managers and 3rd parties to deliver projects successfully
