Salary - £40,000 D.O.E

Set up - Remote with Site visits
We are recruiting for a Senior IT Engineer to join a leading Utilities company based in Leicestershire. This is a fantastic opportunity for the successful candidate to join an established and successful business.
The successful candidate will be an experienced Senior IT Engineer with a broad range of technical skills across multiple platforms and technologies. You will be responsible for the operation and maintenance of the IT Infrastructure, as well as providing technical support to the business.
The role will involve:
* Providing technical expertise and guidance to the business
* Developing and maintaining the IT Infrastructure
* Troubleshooting technical issues
* Ensuring systems are secure and compliant
* Providing technical training and guidance to staff
* Developing and deploying new services
* Liaising with external suppliers
* Managing IT projects
* Participating in out of hours support rota
Technical Skills Required:
* Extensive experience of Windows Server Platforms - up to 2022
* Knowledge of VMWare and Hyper-V virtualisation technologies
* Experience of Networking technologies (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, etc)
* Experience of working with Firewalls, Routers and Switches
* Experience of working with Storage Area Networks
* Experience of deploying and administering Microsoft Office 365
* Knowledge of scripting languages (PowerShell, VBScript, etc)
* Experience of working with Active Directory
* Experience of Disaster Recovery procedures
Desirable - Cloud Technologies (Azure / AWS)
This is a full time role offering an excellent salary of £40000.
