The business is now looking to improve internal controls and governance to support its ongoing phenomenal growth and ambitious plans. The Internal Audit Team sits within the Finance and reports directly to the Audit Committee and will evaluate the adequacy and effectiveness of the firm’s internal controls using a risk-based methodology developed from professional auditing standards.

We are seeking an experienced Senior IT Internal Auditor to join our dynamic team. Reporting to the IT Internal Audit Manager, the role of the Senior IT Auditor is to plan, report and deliver end-to-end IT audits and support SOX testing activities on both Group and location-based areas.

The successful candidate will possess strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders.

THE CHALLENGE:

  • Perform the required IT audits of the organisation as an individual or working in a team, following both established department standards.
  • Conduct IT technology process reviews to evaluate the design and operating effectiveness of IT internal controls.
  • Identify potential IT risks and related issues by applying knowledge of Information Technology industry trends and present IT environment.
  • Produce and review IT audit reports and work papers, ensuring effective documentation of results of reviews on assigned activities that have been made, as well as the recommended action that management should take, for easy follow up.
  • Provide professional and added value recommendations to the audited areas.
  • Monitor follow-up of actions and liaise with assignee for completion.
  • Assist in meeting the requirements for the quarterly and annual SOX 302 and 404 certifications.
  • Due to global nature of the role; you will be required to travel 20-30%. The position is flexible home-working or hybrid 3 days in the London office.

YOUR PROFILE:

  • Experience in IT or Operations internal auditing, Sox ITGC, risk management, IT compliance, IT project management, information security, software development or technology (either in implementation, operation or assessment role).
  • Professional certification (IIA, CISA, CISM or equivalent).
  • Strong ability to work collaboratively and cooperatively with all employees irrespective of their status in the organization.
  • Ability to translate technology topics into “business speak” to be understood by a wide range of both technology and business stakeholders.
  • Results-oriented – ability to motivate, influence, and manage diverse teams.
  • Experience in a fast-paced environment that is ever-changing.
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken).
  • Familiarity with COSO, COBIT, ISO and ITIL frameworks.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Good understanding of information security principles and frameworks, data protection and regulatory compliance (example: ISO27001, GDPR, PCI DSS etc.).
  • Third party assurance experience (SOC 1, SOC 2 etc).
  • Experience with complex IT/Application environment and data analytics.
  • Experience with SQL, ACL, Tableau, PowerBI, or other data analysis tools.
  • Strong analytical, problem solving and report writing skills.
