Senior IT Procurement Analyst/ Procurement Specialist - Permanent - London - £60,000 -70,000
My client based in London is currently recruiting for a Senior IT Procurement Manager/ Procurement Specialist to join the team on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will have previous IT Procurement experience, ideally with experience working on cloud software agreements. The Procurement Analyst/ Procurement Specialist will be working within the IT team focusing on the IT procurement of hardware and software and supplier management, experience in negotiating complex contracts is also required.
The job duties will involve:
· Understanding and ensuring that the procurement processes are followed for the IT department and ensure all governance and diligence is applied when reviewing or on-boarding suppliers.
· Liaise with the relevant risk teams to ensure new suppliers are thoroughly checked before on-boarding takes place.
· Monitor renewal dates, allowing the company to adequately plan renegotiations, renewals and support the process when appropriate for RFP's
· Support the business areas, IT teams and Project teams in supplier engagement and on-boarding process.
· Work with relationship managers to provide support and guidance in on-going supplier management.
This is a hybrid work environment and will require travelling into the London office 2-3 days a week.
