Senior IT Technical Project Manager up to £70k
As a Senior IT Technical Project Manager, you will report into both the CEO and CTO.

The successful candidate will be responsible for gathering and documenting business requirements, producing wireframes, writing technical reports, and assisting with the design, testing, and implementation of both new and updated business applications. The company is keen to strengthen its team with someone from an Agile SDLC background who has a great awareness for Windows Microsoft development stack, SQL Database schemes, client-server system architecture and user interface design issues.

The successful candidate will work for our VIP client and their staff, to specify requirements, and design, test and implement new and updated business applications.

This role requires a strong technical expert, with a background in working effectively with all parts of an organisation to be able to deliver solutions.The individual needs to be an exceptional communicator, a problem solver, organised, able to work well under pressure to tight timescales and have the ability to influence at all levels and have a proven track record of delivering IT projects on time and to budget.
Job Responsibilities Manage projects in line with IS standards, processes, and governance through all stages of a project life cycle.
Plan and monitor multiple IT projects, ensuring objectives are understood and met and the Project team understand the requirements
Direct and motivate the project team
Take responsibility for overall progress and use of resources and initiate corrective action where necessary
Manage project scope and change control and escalate issues where necessary
Resolve cross-functional issues at project level
Manage project risks and issues.
Ensure project plans and progress reporting, including timesheets are maintained on Project Online.
Manage 3rd party expenditure within agreed budgets
Submit regular Checkpoint Reports indicating any deviations from plan at either stage or project level and any corrective action taken
Requirements for the positionIdeally achieved a formal certified waterfall project management methodology (e.g. Prince II Practitioner)
Experience of managing IT projects within medium to large scale organisations with previous enterprise, ERP, digital or infrastructure project exposure.
Ability to manage stakeholders and build relationships to influence and engage at varying levels across the business
An understanding of all aspects of Project Management across a wide range of applications and businesses with the ability to propose solutions and derive plans that ensure delivery to time, budget and quality
Must have a clean full UK driving licence and car, and be willing to travel to intermittently to London for client sites.
