Job Title: Senior IT Technician
Location: Worksop, Nottinghamshire
Salary: £26,000 - £33,000 PLUS 35 Days Holiday, Local Government Pension, Vendor Certifications, Private Medical Insurance
We are seeking an experienced Senior IT Technician to join our client's Private Education Trust in Worksop, Nottinghamshire. You will be a technical specialist, providing a high level of support to staff and students across the organisation.
Responsibilities
* Provide a high level of technical support and maintenance services to staff and students
* Provide guidance and technical advice to staff and students
* Install, configure and maintain computer systems, hardware and software
* Troubleshoot technical problems and provide solutions
* Monitor the day-to-day performance of systems and networks
* Install and configure new software and hardware
* Develop and maintain user manuals and technical documentation
* Prioritise and manage tasks to ensure deadlines are met
* Ensure compliance with relevant standards and regulations
* Monitor and maintain systems and networks
Technical Skills
* Strong technical knowledge of computer systems and networks
* Knowledge of Windows and other operating systems
* Knowledge of hardware installation and configuration
* Knowledge of network installation and configuration
* Knowledge of system and network security
* Knowledge of troubleshooting and problem solving
* Ability to prioritise and manage tasks
* Excellent communication and customer service skills
* Ability to work well under pressure
* Attention to detail
