Legal Counsel
Overview:
Partnered with a Digital asset Hedge fund, who is an investment vehicle designed to invest in and manage a portfolio of digital assets, typically focusing on cryptocurrencies, blockchain-based tokens, and other digital financial instruments.
Responsibilities:
- Drafting and reviewing all contracts, advising on regulatory compliance, handling disputes, and representing the company in legal proceedings.
- Shall also stay abreast of changes in relevant laws and regulations affecting the crypto trading industry worldwide.
- Knowledge of UAE legal system is a MUST (to be able to handle company’s regulatory filings, compliance, etc.)
- Employment law knowledge would be useful.
- Trading related compliance knowledge is a MUST.
Fully remote.
Ideally 3-4 days a week.
