DAS UK has recently been acquired by ARAG SE and is now in an exciting phase of growth.

We’re looking for a talented Senior Legal Counsel to join our friendly, highly regarded legal team. You will play a key role in setting the tone and strategy of the team, helping to develop it into a best in class, high quality, integrated and efficient function. You will be involved in some of the business’ highest profile contracts, so your ability to build strong relationships with senior stakeholders and gain trust quickly is crucial.

Whilst we provide timely and accurate legal advice, that’s only part of the team’s remit; we provide guidance on grey areas of law and help navigate the full range of commercial issues the business faces on a daily basis.

We are keen to hear from fully qualified solicitors, with significant experience of commercial contracts, whether in-house or in private practice. You will be highly skilled and technically precise with the confidence and ability to negotiate, supervise and gain support of internal clients quickly. Preferably, you will have experience of the insurance or the wider regulated financial services sector, however this is not essential. It is vital that you are a team player, prepared to work closely with colleagues of other disciplines whilst building trust and confidence with internal clients and team members through positive, progressive and enthusiastic approach to the challenges and opportunities which will present themselves.
