Our client is looking for an experienced Senior Legal Counsel, to be based in their Greater Bristol office, to join its award-winning Commercial Legal team as part of the legal teams continued growth. You will be a commercially minded with a particular focus on drafting, negotiating high-value, complex contracts. The business is a high quality, fun and enjoyable place to be. Candidate Requireme
nts:· 8+years PQE (although other PQEs will be conside
red)· Experience with reviewing, drafting and negotiating complex contracts with customers, intermediaries, and suppli
ers.· Lead and grow a small commercial team (Legal Counsel, Contract Manager, Apprentice and Gradu
ate)· Act as the primary contact for senior stakeholders in a range of business units and corporate support departme
nts.· Project manage cross-functional teams in business change projects that support the business’ key objectives across multiple discipli
nes.· Provide practical solutions to complex legal problems in the manner of an experienced business part
ner.· Build relationships with stakeholders across all levels of the business to help influence and implement business strategy and direct
ion.· Support and deputise as required for the Deputy General Counsel in your areas of expert
ise.· Experience in delivering pragmatic legal and compliance advice in a demanding and ever-changing business environm
ent.· Display impeccable integrity and a willingness and ability to lead by exam
ple.· Be conversant in all aspects of intellectual property and commercial
law.· Show a passion for technology and innovation and bringing about business cha
nge.· Have in-house experience or be able to display a deep understanding of the challenges a fast-moving revenue generating business fa
ces.· Ideally, be fluent in a second European langu
