Senior Legal Counsel: UK (London or Coventry) We are seeking an experienced Legal Counsel to provide comprehensive legal and compliance support within a dynamic international environment. This role is integral to our client's operations, requiring a proactive approach to navigating complex legal landscapes and supporting business initiatives with strategic legal guidance. You will act as a key legal business partner for operations in UK & Ireland, providing advisory related to applicable laws and regulations this region. Key Responsibilities: Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of contracts, including those related to construction, distribution, and other commercial agreements. Offer regulatory guidance on antitrust and competition law, particularly concerning distribution and channel strategies. Develop and maintain legal templates and standard agreements. Proactively identify potential legal risks and implement policies and procedures to mitigate them. Oversee and manage claims, disputes, and litigation processes. Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and company policies, including the facilitation of legal training programs. Provide ongoing local legal support in collaboration with global legal teams. Qualifications: Fully qualified legal professional with a Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Law or equivalent credentials. Native level fluency in English, additional languages are beneficial. Demonstrated experience working within an in-house legal team, preferably in a multinational corporation. Strong ability to collaborate with business stakeholders, providing strategic legal advice and addressing key commercial and legal concerns. Independent, well-organised, and capable of managing high volumes of work with precision. Exceptional interpersonal skills with a commercial mindset and the ability to work effectively within diverse teams.
