Senior Legal Counsel Fmcg Job In St Albans

Taylor Root is working with a FTSE 250, leading brand in the FMCG sector, who are looking to hire a Senior Legal Counsel from September for a 12-month Fixed Term Contract.

The Role:

Reporting into the Associate General Counsel, you will be handling a varied corporate and commercial role.

Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Drafting and negotiating a range of commercial agreements.
• Supporting the procurement team and handling supplier agreements (i.e. packaging, logistics, supply chain, IT, and advertising).
• Supporting different business teams incl. finance, treasury and tax.
• Handling ESG-related matters.
• Providing company secretarial and corporate governance support.
• Supporting on general day-to-day corporate work and ad hoc M&A.

Profile requirements:

• Corporate/commercial solicitor ideally with at least 6 years’ post qualification experience.
• In-house experience is desirable.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to deliver advice pragmatically.
• Proactive and hands-on approach.
