Job Description
- Providing expert and strategic legal advice to management
- Setting internal governance policies and managing the impact of external factors
- Drafting, negotiating and reviewing contracts
- Ensuring the organisation's legal compliance
- Representing the organisation in legal proceedings
- Assisting with the formulation of strategic legal decisions
- Developing our clients in-house legal team
- Advising on employment law and human resources matters
The Successful Applicant
The successful applicant will have the following skills/experience:
- An in-depth understanding of how legal issues affect organisations
- A law degree and professional qualifications, with a minimum of 5 years PQE
- Ability to create legal defensive or proactive strategies
- High degree of professional ethics, integrity and gravitas
- Excellent judgement and analytical skills
- First class interpersonal and communication skills
