You will be joining a leading multi-billion dollar company in the food ingredients sector with sites located across the globe. They thrive on creativity and innovation by embracing new technologies to push the boundaries of food science.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Allocate, co-ordinate, and evaluate all shift Engineering work tasks to ensure maximum value and compliance from the team.
  2. Supervise the Engineering team and provide relief legal duty holder cover for the Engineering Manager.
  3. Manage asset management system, conduct risk assessments, and liaise with external contractors.
  4. Ensure completion of all permit-to-work documents to required standards.
  5. Analyze breakdown information, control and improve Engineering Stores function, and lead/support Projects.
  6. Adhere to Quality, Food Safety, Health and Safety, and Company Policies.

Requirements:

Qualifications: Time served Engineering Apprenticeship in a relevant engineering discipline or equivalent qualification. Experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment is required.

Skills: Practical hands-on approach, significant experience in maintenance background, electrical and mechanical fault finding, 17th/18th Edition wiring, PLC fault finding, and planned maintenance systems.

Experience: Working in a similar role, preferably within the food manufacturing sector.

Salary: Up to £53,000 to £58,500 per annum

Benefits: Pension – 6% contribution, 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, 2x Salary death in benefit service, Health care cash plan.

Working Hours: Monday – Friday, 35 hours per week (may require working outside usual hours).
