Fast-paced business who now form part of a larger international group seek to appoint a hands-on accountant with excellent management reporting and project accounting skills to join them as an interim contractor for a period of 3–4 months before moving to a permanent employee thereafter. They therefore seek candidates available at short notice to start at the earliest opportunity.

Your new role
As the senior within the team you will act as the 2nd in command to the Head of Finance, deputising in their absence. You will produce monthly management accounts and play a key role in the budgeting and forecasting process. You will over a portfolio of projects to provide up to date commentary whilst ensuring the revenue is booked to the correct project every month. You will support tenders and bids and assist the financial reporting team with the production of the statutory accounts. You will hold oversight for the inventory and asset registers and work on a range of in-house process improvement projects.
What you'll need to succeed
You will be a qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA or equivalent) with strong management reporting skills. Ideally you will have worked within a division of an international group and be in a position to start at short notice. Exposure to project and revenue management would be highly desirable.
