Senior Management Accountant - Tech Consultancy Scale Up - RemoteHarmonic are delighted to partner with a rapidly growing Tech Scale up based in London. They have grown 100% in the last 12 months and have plans to continue on this rapid growth trajectory. The have a current revenue of £10mill and headcount of 70.The Senior Management Accountant is an important position within the finance department and plays a fundamental role in ensuring the business remains financially sound and maximises profitability, whilst also helping to develop effective strategies for future growth. The successful applicant will drive forward a new approach to project-based accounting and help to move the current accounting from Xero to Sage.The business is a leader in content and information management systems, since becoming established 20 years ago, they have developed a fantastic that counts over 600,000 users worldwide. They trust employees with responsibility, a voice and flexibility.Responsibilities include:• Producing accurate revenue and cost forecasts, and helping manage cashflow• Provide accurate consolidated quarterly management accounts, to aid senior management with key strategic decisions• Ensuring that data has been recorded in accountancy software correctly• Conduct VAT analysis and returns• Pricing and margin analysis for IT projects• Insure accurate invoicing and credit control for IT projects• Working closely with the sales and project management teams, to ensure the financial accuracy of proposals and bids and to ensure business logic• Calculate quarterly sales commission• Regular and specific cost analysis reports, such as for cloud hosting and staff costs• Review accounting processes and practices and improve where necessary to ensure efficient financial operations• Participate in and support with all audit queries• Support the successful preparation of consolidated accounts over three different business entities (UK, Netherlands and Japan).
