The role..

The Senior Manager will lead our international and varied client base though complex and strategic engagements, including market strategy, acquisition scans, commercial due diligence, thought leadership and Vendor selection. You’ll be working across 3 – 4 projects simultaneously, becoming a trusted advisor to our clients and driving excellence within the project teams and delivery. This position is a vital part of the growth and development of the Advisory function, both from a people and commercial perspective.


We are considering applications in the range of £75,000 - £85,000 plus a competitive quarterly bonus.


What you’ll be doing..

  • Articulating the Verdantix value proposition, methodologies, research, and advisory capabilities to align with the needs of new and existing clients.
  • Scoping projects and pricing, developing highly commercial proposals to secure new consulting projects.
  • Leading multiple projects in parallel, identifying critical paths and utilising them to manage the teams, project communications, deliverables and reporting in line with internal and external expectations.
  • Identifying and formulating mitigation strategies across all risks to project quality, timelines, and reputation.
  • Ensuring the production of high-quality deliverables to our clients that promotes repeat business.
  • Establishing highly developed relationships with clients, acting as a trusted advisor guiding them through complex strategy projects.
  • Supporting Directors and VP to develop Advisory functional capabilities, identify commercial goals and business cases for strategic improvements.
  • Developing your personal brand both internally and externally as a subject matter expert.
  • Motivating, and mentoring project teams, maintaining a culture of client focus and excellence.


What we’re looking for..

  • Degree educated with significant experience delivering consulting engagements.
  • Experience working across multiple strategy projects simultaneously, with international teams and clients.
  • Previous consulting experience within ESG, EHS or sustainability, ideally with a technology focus.
  • Proven ability to sell consulting projects and building long term partnerships with clients.
  • Quantitative, analytical, problem-solving, and conceptual thinking skills.
  • Exceptional presentation skills with the ability to translate complex project deliverables to senior executives.
  • Excellent leadership skills, fostering collaboration, driving high performance, and achieving strategic objectives.
  • Effective prioritisation and organisation skills, confident in dealing with multiple priorities and competing deadlines.
  • Solution and detail orientated, with a focus on action and delivery.
