Senior Manager, Corporate Reporting (National Audit Technical Services)About the TeamOurNational Audit Technical Services (NATS) is responsible for maintaining anddriving technical quality of the audit firm's operational procedures, providingtechnical support to partners and staff and conducting quality control reviews.A sub-set of NATS is the financial reporting team whichprovides support to teams on technical accounting and financial reportingmatters.We need to expand further our financial reporting team tomeet anticipated growth in our audit practice, continue to provide technicalaccounting support, ensure quality is maintained, identify efficiencies inworking practices and lead on implementing financial reporting changes as theyare published in the future, so this is an exciting time to join the team as a Senior Manager andbe part of our journey!About the JobYourprimary role will be:Acting as a financial reporting specialist on complex audits, providing audit teams with targeted expertise on the subject matter to support high audit qualityAssisting with financial and non-financial reporting consultations submitted to the firm’s service deskResponsible for performing second opinion reviews of technical accounting matters under IFRS and UK GAAP, developing our audit teams in the processDrafting corporate reporting internal technical communications and practice aidsWorking with other team members on ongoing projects, including input into the development of audit work programmes, taking responsibility for the financial reporting intranet pages, development and review of technical materials for training purposes and researching new and emerging financial reporting developmentsA point of contact for informaltechnical queries from client-facing partners and staff, in your local regionbut also supporting other offices nationwide
