Senior Manager, Global Social Media and Influence.
Deliveroo is hiring for a new role as Senior Manager, Global Social Media and Influence, to join the Global Communications team.
This is a new role which will lead and manage Influencer Marketing, Instagram and TikTok at Deliveroo Global and UK, reporting to the Global Head of Social Media and working closely with Consumer Communications and Marketing.
The ideal candidate will be organised, creative and entrepreneurial.
The Candidate
- Experience working in social media (particularly Instagram and TikTok) and influencer marketing (in-house/agency).
- In-depth understanding of social media platforms, their requirements, and updates and innovations as they occur.
- Creative and across the latest social media and food trends.
- Excellent knowledge of the influencer landscape in the UK.
- Confident in giving strong creative direction in photography, videography, graphics and copy.
- Exceptional communication and project management skills, well versed in internal and external stakeholder management.
- Experience using in-platform and social analytics tools to measure campaign performance and implement learnings into future projects.
- Experience in setting and managing budgets for influencer activity (small, medium and large scale), negotiating with, and contracting, influencers.
- A team player, obsessed with social media, who loves food and understands its role in culture.
The Role
Senior Manager, Global Social Media and Influence.
- Work closely with Comms and Marketing to support the business priorities and initiatives with creative and impactful Influencer activity on social channels.
- Set out a platform-specific strategic approach for Deliveroo’s work with Influencers across Instagram and TikTok in particular, and other relevant social platforms if required.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with talent and influencers.
- Manage relationships with restaurant and grocery partners, understanding their plans and developing these into Influencer projects.
- Where relevant, work with agencies on the planning and delivery of campaigns.
- Evaluating and improving the success of the Influencer strategy, reporting back to internal and external stakeholders.
- Supporting international teams and agencies with guidance on how to deliver strong social media activity involving talent and influencers on Instagram and TikTok.
- Work closely with other Social Media Managers around the world to ensure our influencer strategy is aligned and effective.
- Use social tools (such as Brandwatch, Social Bakers) to track talent and influencer conversations and use those insights to plan campaigns.
