Job Description

The Senior Manager Marketing Operations is a brand new, strategic and critical role to support the rapidly scaling and ambitious business and marketing team.


Reporting to a VP Marketing who is passionate about using data and technology to define and prioritise the problems we are solving, to make smart decisions, to drive efficiency, to define targets and hypotheses and to measure the impact of programs so the team can learn and refine - but until now, the skills and bandwidth have not allowed that vision to become a reality.

This role can be based in either Manchester or London.


The Right Candidate:


  • 5+ years of marketing experience in the software industry in marketing operations positions
  • Deep knowledge of SFDC, GA, Excel and BI a must
  • HubSpot certified and proven continuous learning as the platform evolves
  • You are passionate and knowledgeable about the MarTech industry, with a deep understanding of mid-market and enterprise sales and buyer journeys including MEDDPICC qualification
  • You’re data obsessed - You are analytical, but are able to find the stories and insights in the numbers and translate data into actionable recommendations (and communicate them!)
  • You’re a driven self-starter; highly accountable and comfortable working and prioritising in a fast-paced environment.
  • You have strong interpersonal skills; a great collaborator able to build strong relationships across functions and confident in presenting results to stakeholders and leadership team members
  • Your attention to detail is second-to-none, and you have a track record of optimising processes to drive efficiencies.



Responsibilities:


Analytics

  • Manage analytics, reporting, and team dashboards to measure marketing effectiveness and pipeline/funnel health, promoting a data-driven culture and alignment across the revenue team
  • Provide insights to stakeholders in the business and recommend potential strategies
  • Support the team in A/B testing and experimentation for continual campaign optimisations


Tools

  • Represent Marketing on the commercial systems steering committee as key stakeholder to evaluate and agree objectives and plans to implement, and manage marketing technology systems to improve marketing efficiency and performance, such as ABM and CDP in partnership with Head of RevOps
  • Function as the Lunio HubSpot guru, ensuring that we harness the full power of the system and achieve our goals.
  • Identify, troubleshoot, and correct any lead flow and attribution issues between HubSpot and Salesforce working in partnership with RevOps



Data Optimisation and Governance

  • Optimise our prospect and customer database including consent, lead enrichment, cleansing and segmentation
  • Be the champion and driver for data privacy and a first party data strategy
  • Define and implement an attribution strategy that is buyer first and promotes learning and optimisation
  • Optimise the lead scoring model and sales handover processes for maximum efficiency and effectiveness


Process

  • Support the Marketing team with technical elements of campaign set-up where required and ensure results are tracked and measurable.
  • Own and optimise the lead management process and operational interlock with sales to enable the fast, consistent, and accurate lead follow up and CRM hygiene.
  • Own the creation of process documentation to support process rollout and team member onboarding, attending always to shared methods, standards and version control of documentation with the RevOps team
