Our client is a leading supplier with a portfolio of key projects and a strong order book moving forward. Reporting to the Manufacturing Director you will have responsibility for managing the day-to-day Safety, Quality, Throughput and Cost for their department. In conjunction with the Manufacturing Director, the position is responsible for maximising individual and plant-wide productivity, quality and technical skill development to ensure on-time shipments and customer satisfaction, as well as reducing variable costs. The focus of the role will be to execute the daily, weekly plans for the Business Unit, managing the manpower and other resources to carry them out in an efficient and productive manner. As the Operations Manager your responsible for reviewing and planning for daily, weekly, and quarterly labour, equipment, tooling and supply requirements to achieve business unit throughput while meeting and exceeding productivity targets. Coaching and developing production manager capability •Set-up of daily standard meetings to manage performance and exceptions •Developing operators to multi skill and gain flexibility across multiple assets Experience and examples of motivate and develop teams to meet performance requirements Our client currently has bonus scheme paying out every quarter.
