As the Senior Manager of Regulatory, Compliance, and Quality Assurance, you will provide strategic leadership in navigating market regulatory requirements and ensuring the highest standards of product quality and safety. Reporting to the Global Quality Organisation, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including New Product Development, Product Engineering Center, Marketing, and Suppliers to drive regulatory compliance initiatives and uphold our brand reputation.from you!


The Role


  • Develop and execute the Spectrum Brands HPC Regulatory Strategy, ensuring ongoing compliance with EU and international regulations for electric consumer products.
  • Lead Health and Safety Compliance efforts for appliances, aligning with Spectrum Brands and external regulatory initiatives.
  • Drive sustainability compliance in served countries, defining oversight processes and administering necessary changes.
  • Generalise compliance processes to meet customer or region-specific requirements, including support for Amazon domestic and direct business.
  • Develop functional area infrastructure, implement supporting processes, and set and achieve functional area goals.
  • Provide ongoing organisational education on regulatory requirements and processes to build awareness and technical understanding.
  • Update compliance documentation to ensure accurate and up-to-date information for commercial teams and customers.
  • Administer and coordinate all regulatory affairs for HPC in the International region, in collaboration with the Global Compliance team.
  • Represent the company at external meetings to maintain positive relationships with regulators and trade associations, adhering to anti-trust rules.


Skills & Experience


  • Technical Bachelor’s Degree required; advanced degree preferred.
  • 10+ years of equivalent related experience in quality/operations, with 6+ years of experience in the sustainability field.
  • Strong knowledge of sustainability requirements and standards process in served markets.
  • Experience with consumer products and related design/manufacturing processes preferred.
  • Very strong knowledge of regulatory/agency requirements applicable to small kitchen and personal appliances.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, decision-making, and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in scheduling, implementing, and tracking audit processes to comply with regulatory or customer requirements.
  • Understanding of ISO, sustainability, and other applicable regulations.
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, with the ability to influence others positively.
  • Proven leadership skills and abilities.
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products; knowledge of SPB Appliance business categories highly desirable.
