Job Description

Every day, the world gets more digital thanks to tens of millions of developers building the future faster than ever. But with exponential growth comes exponential risk, as outnumbered security teams struggle to secure mountains of code. This is where Snyk (pronounced “sneak”) comes in. Snyk is a developer security platform that makes it easy for development teams to find, prioritize, and fix security vulnerabilities in code, dependencies, containers, and cloud infrastructure — and do it all right from the start. Snyk is on a mission to make the world a more secure place by empowering developers to develop fast and stay secure.

Joining Snyk means embracing our core values: One Team, Care Deeply, Customer Centric, and Forward Thinking. As a member of our team, you’ll have the opportunity to thrive in a dynamic environment where fostering collaboration, leading with empathy, driving business impact, and inspiring trust are at the heart of everything we do.

Our opportunity

As a Senior Manager, Sales Development for Snyk, you will manage the day-to-day activities and training of our EMEA SDR team, coaching them as they drive meetings, sales demos, and pipeline to support incremental revenue growth for our Sales organization. As the EMEA SDR Leader, you’ll play an integral role in coaching and ramping up that team, as well as improving the sales pipeline. You’ll work closely with our marketing team to define our ABM strategy and outbound process and partner closely with sales leadership to drive specific outcomes.

You’ll spend your time:

  • Hiring and building out an effective team of Sales Development Representatives to support Snyk’s EMEA region.
  • Mentoring, coaching, and driving the personal development of individuals on your team.
  • Implementing productivity goals, objectives, and incentive initiatives that stretch and develop your team towards successful careers within sales, where they regularly exceed objectives.
  • Working closely with our sales leads to align pipeline goals and forecasts, and track these back to individual activities and objectives on your team.
  • Collaborating with our marketing team to define our outbound and account-based marketing strategy and sequences, and aligning these with your team goals.

You should apply if you:

  • 3-5 years experience in leading a team as a manager or team lead.
  • Have worked as an SDR on your career journey.
  • Have a good understanding of metrics and how to use data to influence and drive results.
  • Have experience across countries in EMEA and have a good understanding of the unique country regulations and requirements.
  • Are passionate about coaching and helping people develop.
  • Understand people and what makes them tick.
  • Extra consideration given to someone who has also been an Account Executive.
  • Have prior experience with Salesforce.com or another CRM tool.
  • Have a team-oriented mindset and feel most successful when empowering others.
  • Care about diversity and enjoy meeting people from all walks of life.
  • Understand the application security space Snyk is operating in and feel excited about helping us expand our market presence.

We care deeply about the warm, inclusive environment we’ve created and we value diversity – we welcome applications from those typically underrepresented in tech. If you like the sound of this role but are not totally sure whether you’re the right person, do apply anyway!
