Burberry Showroom is the window to our brand for all commercial partners, acting as the launchpad of our collections and creative initiatives. Operating in alignment with the overall business strategy, the Showrooms function acts as both a commercial and creative spaces, ensuring the luxurious Burberry image is projected at all times.
We are recruiting for a talented individual to deliver all commercial moments across our Paris and London showrooms. Supporting the Commercial Director and business partners in the execution of the retail and wholesale buys seasonally, delivering a top class luxury experience at all times.
The ability to be work within the fast pace environment where activity happens quickly and continuously, is a must. This position requires travel to Paris approximately six times a year.RESPONSIBILITIES
- Working under the Commercial function and reporting into the Director - Commercial, management of the global showrooms in London and Paris to deliver an operationally excellent, and elevated client experience at all times
- Working with the VP of product strategy to define all cross functional requirements to deliver market. Responsible for the production and delivery of market schedules andcalendars for regional and central teams
- Key stakeholder in coordinating crucial discussions and working groups each season to deliver market, including; organisation of seasonal product presentations, operational planning of all travelling attendees to showroom, scheduling visual merchandising, taking regional wholesale leads through the day by day calendar.
- Review of key activities and where we add commercial valueoutside of Market. Supporting product teams operationally with campaigns and styling initiatives
- Management of the Samples team, ensuring the successful delivery of all the collections into Paris each season in compliance with Brexit and AEO standards.
- Driving cross-functional meetings with shipping, trade compliance and product teams to deliver to critical path, defining and improving ways of working.
- Lead monthly budget meetings with the finance team, working with the showroom managers across London and Paris to support monthly tracking and delivering within budget
- Management of a team of approximately 25 FTE’s across Showrooms and Samples, working closely with each team member, giving regular feedback and support through mentoring and coaching
- Strong stakeholder relationships with all PA’s and EA’s across product, creative and commercial teams
- Ensure all Health & Safety measures in the showroom in accordance to our working guidelines
- Drive and maintain relationships with all in house partners, identifying areas of growth in business and strategy
- Supporting Commercial Director in building and presenting to the ExCo, as required
PERSONAL PROFILE
- Understanding of the luxury market within businesses operating a wholesale/retail hybrid model
- Good understanding of the planning and merchandising critical path, including market calendars
- Experience in project/programme management, or in an operational capacity working to deadlines and targets
- Leading and developing large teams
- Senior stakeholder management and presenting to Executivelevel
- Management of large budgets and tracking and reporting against targets
- Experience of working under pressure in a fast paced environment
- Fluent written and spoken English essential
- French speaking preferable
- PC and MS Office literateFOOTER
