Senior Marketing Planning Manager page is loaded Senior Marketing Planning Manager Apply locations London, UK time type Full time posted on Posted Yesterday job requisition id R10345 The Senior planning Marketing Manager is responsible for working with senior marketing director and senior business stakeholders to deliver an integrated marketing plan. The role holder is accountable for the annual marketing plan alongside all marketing planning and investment management in a year. The role will work across both Fleet and CPS businesses to support developing the most effective marketing plan to deliver against the business results.
This role holder needs to be strategic and steward the team to ensure all activity is in plan and effectively aligned to the core business goals and objectives. The role works closely with the effectiveness lead to ensure the ROI is presented back and in line with planned objectives and marketing investment. The role holder will primarily be focused on marketing planning and investment management, but will also lead core strategic projects as and when required.

Lead in a matrix management style across marketing to ensure effective planning and resources are being used to deliver to the critical goals on the business
Own, devise and deliver strategic marketing plans across both business lines (Fleet & CPS) with consideration to all geographies wex operates in as well as key channels.
Work with the marketing directors to align activity across marketing and look for synergies where possible to maximise efforts and investments.
Working closely with the US marketing team to create efficiencies and collaborate on global and local priorities.
Take the lead and work across the wider marketing team to create and deliver world leading strategies for wex.
Senor stakeholder management across International and elements of the global team, reporting results and delivering presentations to senior stakeholders on the marketing plans.
Support the wider team in delivering award winning marketing campaigns and events.
Prior experience working with cross-functional teams.
Degree in English, Communications, Marketing, or related field
Editorial and content experience - either from a pure editorial background or in a communications function
Excellent command of the English language with traditional writing skills and expertise in new media
Experience of working in multiple European countries and handling translations
Language skills (English plus French, German, or Italian) both written and verbal would be highly desirable but not essentia
Experience of working with Google G Suite, Adobe Creative Cloud, Salesforce / Marketing Cloud desirable
Proven attention to detail
Experience of implementing Social Media campaigns
Experience working for a B2B organisation would be advantageous
Knowledge of SEO
Experienced running and devising Content Marketing campaigns
Strong knowledge and understanding of current trends in Digital/Social Media
Culturally adept and at home working across a geographically diverse workforce
Confident communicator to both external and internal customers and strong relationship building skills
Extraordinary project-management skills: proficiency in multi-tasking, and juggling multiple projects and timelines
Energetic and creative thinker who will seek to bring new ideas to the table.
Proactive team player who seeks to learn and share experiences with others
Ability to plan and execute but be flexible in approach.
