Role Purpose:To deliver profitable growth and excellent execution within one of our largest and most strategic customer in Grocery, Asda. Fully responsible for the management and growth of our specialised nutrition brands within this customerKey Activities:Customer ProfitabilityResponsible for Net Sales, investment and customer profitability, driving profitable growth for both Danone and Asda on an annual, quarterly and monthly basisCreating and executing joint plans that deliver on our shared growth ambitionsDriving the right mix of brands/ skus to maximise growth and profitCustomer StrategiesEnsuring the customer strategy is aligned to the overall Grocery strategy, focusing on shared priorities of health and sustainability and driving initaitves to deliver on theseWorking closely with wider Asda team, Category, Market Strategy and PRGM to identify any growth opportunities and delivering excellent execution in storeForesee potential risks through cross functional teamwork, finding solutions to mitigate before they arisePromotional & Price PlanningOverseeing the promotional and pricing plans, ensuring these are aligned internallyReview return on investment regularly internally and externally, tweaking the plans where relevant Customer EngagementCreate and develop respected relationships with key customer contacts, across Asda functionsEnsure we are the ‘supplier of choice’ by understanding best in class ways of working and consistently delivering against thisTeam Engagement & DevelopmentBeing an active member of the customer and overall Grocery & discounter teamDeveloping junior members of the team through delivery management by setting the plans for desired outcomes, engages the team on the ‘why’ of each project and coaching on the day-to-day challenges About You We would like you to demonstrate your following key skills:Able to think beyond their own scope and take in the wider business needs when making decisionsCan manage the balance between the operational day to day and the long-term strategic thinkingShows potential in developing their own leadership footprint and can lead through othersManages a broad network internally and externally to support deliveryAbility to deliver a demand led JBPStrong questioning and listening skillsAble to demonstrate well-prepared negotiations including scenario planning Strong commercial acumen Salary Bracket: £65k - £75k + car allowance About Us, We offer and What's next At Danone UK & Ireland, we are committed to delivering better health through better nutrition for millions of consumers and patients in our communities.Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) is deeply embedded in Danone's DNA, representing our core values and beliefs.
