Opportunity:

Due to increased demand in the Commercial Sales Team, we have a brilliant new role as a Senior National Account Manager on offer here. This is working within the Consumer side of the business which is a major focus area and has recently seen growth of 30% YOY, well ahead of the current market, and a fantastic result!

You will be working closely with the Head of Highstreet to deliver the strategy for growth within the biggest and most highly regarded account in the business unit – Superdrug!

This is a highly exposed role within the business where you will be building and implementing JBP’s and have full responsibility for the strategy and growth opportunities.

As well as being the sole person responsible for the Superdrug account you will also look after Savers as well – The Highstreet channel of the business makes up 46% of the overall business sales.

Future opportunities with these guys are endless also as you will work closely with the Senior Leadership Team. The investment they are putting into this opportunity and their openness to change management is undeniable – this is not an opportunity to miss!

You:

We are looking for a high calibre, ambitious, consumer goods professional who is looking to join a business that is truly shaping the market and the category.

This is what the desired skillset looks like:

  • At least 4 years’ experience within an FMCG Consumer Products business.
  • National Account Management experience of top National Accounts – obviously, Superdrug, Boots or High Street would be ideal, but we would also consider other channels such as Grocery or Discount Retail.
  • Experience with Improving P&L within retail accounts.
  • Someone with proven experience of nurturing relationships with retailers – either with new business or launching new listings in existing accounts.
  • A proven track record of commercial achievements within your current role.
  • Able to work on own initiative and enjoy working with autonomy.
  • Ability to work on your own and as part of a team.
  • Make strong recommendations to Senior Leadership teams to assist in growth plans.
  • Strong ability to negotiate and handle difficult situations.
