Location: Hybrid remote working across our offices, at both Cargo HQ DNATA City East, London Heathrow Airport and our VHQ in Crawley

Contract: Permanent

As Senior Network and Flight Planning Analyst within our #CargoFamily you'll spearhead the Network and Flight Planning function. Owning Cargo’s processes and delivery of flight planning and network optimisation. Ensuring it is fit for purpose, relevant to the contemporary organisation and constantly strives to strike better balances between commercial pressure, customer sentiment and operational reality.

You will also benchmark success and determine goals oriented towards continuous improvements. Whilst developing brilliant working relationships across cargo, becoming the ‘go to’ resource for problem resolution and solution – in relation to tactical flight optimisation, this has never been more pivotal in our journey to becoming ‘most loved’.

Day to day

- Provide and create new tools to support internal business processes.

- Drive continuous improvement through the use of data analysis

- Ensure flight planning and prioritisation processes meet operational requirements and generate maximum benefit

- Manage short-term capacity for flights

- Take ownership for handling any issues from internal customers and offshore team

- Find solutions and compromises to often incompatible contradictory problems

- Develop existing and create new brilliant working relationships across the organisation

- Coordinate cargo’s response to disruption to the schedule and flying programme.

- Ownership of the seasonal flying and trucking schedule loads and updates

- Be the lead contact and represent cargo within the Airline commercial and operational teams

- Provide support and input to the business for ad-hoc project work.

- Create analyses and lead new business ventures and opportunities.

- Communicate, influence and present to partners of all levels

About you

Do you have experience within some or all of the cargo areas - Cargo Commercial, Cargo Customer Service, Cargo Sales and Operations? Do you have demonstrated experience and a track record of operating at a Senior Analyst level? Then this could be the role for you!

Alongside the above, we're looking for the following to be successful in your application:

- Ability to persuade and influence partners across all levels and functions whilst building durable and effective working relationships

- Advanced knowledge and practical application of Excel. With SQL and Power BI being a desirable skill to really set you up for success

- Experience in delivering projects and analysis in a fast-paced and dynamic environment

- Confidence in decision-making, with sound commercial awareness, and able to defend those decisions at all levels

- Ability to prioritise own workload against tight deadlines

- Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal
