This is a fantastic opportunity to join a global Security and Facilities Management organisation as a Senior Network Engineer. This is a home working lead role, with occasional UK and global travel required. If you have a University Degree, switching and routing skills and have the ability to design, implement and troubleshoot complexnetworks then you could be perfect for this role.

The main responsibilities of the Senior Network Engineer are:
Design and implement reliable networks
Update infrastructure andimprove the stability, redundancy and security
Ownership of Design Building Blocks to assist with development
Produce in-depth technical design diagrams and documents that assist with knowledge transfer
Investigate and troubleshoot service requests and incidents and resolve within the SLA
Assist colleagues in order to contribute to team development
Occasional requirement to travel to different sites across the globe that require assistance

Essential:
University Degree 2:2 Computer Science or similar
CCNP Routing and Switching
Understanding of TCP / IP
Layer 2 Switching and IP Routing Protocols
Experience of multiple Firewall vendors
Able to design, implement and troubleshoot complex networks
Completer / finisher skills
Able to learn new technologies quickly
Desirable
Cloud Networking knowledge
Understanding of SD-WAN technologies and Vendors
The successful candidate will be required to provide original documentation for detailed screening and vetting processes.These documents may include your passport, drivers licence, utility bill (dated in the last 3 months), HMRC letter, an original bank statement, an original payslip, your birth certificate or a valid share code.
Please note, this role does not qualify for a visa under the current Government guidelines therefore to be considered for this role you must already have the right to work in the UK. Re-location costs will not be granted.
