Job Description
A well-established specialty insurer, located in the City of London is urgently seeking an experienced Network Support Engineer. The successful candidate will join a 3rd line technical team and be responsible for all aspects of network work infrastructure. This is a great opportunity with a successful organisation, true leaders in the Insurance Market, who are continuing their technology transformation.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of the network infrastructure across Microsoft Azure Cloud landing zone, as well as branch offices, head office and data centre.
- Maintain the organisation's LAN/WAN networking, including wireless controllers, Access points, Checkpoint firewalls, Proxy, Citrix NetScaler load balancers, MS Teams Voice, and Cisco switches and routers.
- Manage the configuration and installation of all network hardware and equipment.
- Act as an escalation point for complex network issues.
- Provide support and administration of the IT infrastructure.
Skills/qualifications required:
- Strong knowledge and understanding of information security principles.
- Practical experience with Privileged Access Management (PAM).
- Proven track record in troubleshooting complex networks, hardware, and software.
- Extensive experience with network systems, global configuration standards, and relevant protocols across all major vendor products and services.
- Cisco Firewalls and manager
- LAN/WAN - Cisco switches and routers, CheckPoint firewalls, Citrix Netscaler load balancers.
- ITIL
- Cisco CCNP, CCNA, CCSA or CCSE certified.
