Job Description

Search Consultancy, one of the UK's leading healthcare recruitment businesses, is currently looking for an exceptional Operations Manager. In this full-time, permanent role, you'll be responsible for providing the highest quality of care and support to our client's services in the Towers Hamlet & Wandsworth area. The Operations Manager will have a 'hands-on' approach to their leadership style, and someone that wants to act as a visible presence across the portfolio for older people who have a range of needs, including physical disabilities and mental health needs, dementia and long term health conditions.

The Operations Manager role comes with a competitive salary of up to £55,000 and excellent company benefits. To progress your application you must hold a relevant professional qualification (e.g. Diploma in Social Work, RMN/RGN, NVQ 4/5, RMA).

The ideal candidate will either be an experienced Registered Manager, with excellent leadership, management and organisational skills looking for that next step in their career or an experienced Operations Manager looking for a new opportunity. Your collaborative style will enable you to work proactively to build effective working relationships with Local Authority practitioners, families/carers and other stakeholders and your strong vision and coaching approach will enable the development of your team and service. This Operations Manager will also continue the delivery of growth and direct leadership and management in all aspects of the operational functions to the clients and Registered Managers.

Requirements:

* Demonstrable understanding of the key business activities associated with leading a care home, specialist service or supported living operation.
* At least 4 years management experience, skills and knowledge gained in one of the following areas:
* Services for older people/people with dementia/memory loss/mental health needs/physical or learning disabilities
* Residential day or community services for older people
* Extra care or home care services for older people
* Prevention and re-enablement services for older people
* Experience of carrying out the role of Registered Manager
* You will be familiar with budgeting, maintaining financial performance and seeking opportunities for growth.
* A relevant professional qualification (e.g. Diploma in Social Work, RMN/RGN, NVQ 4/5, RMA)
* Ability to work collaboratively and to deliver continuous improvement via coaching, mentoring and strong leadership skills.
* Demonstrable understanding of the key business activities associated with leading a care home, specialist service or supported living operation.
