Exciting opportunity for a progressive People Operations Leader to join this global media organsition on a fixed term 12 month basis starting ASAP. The People Operations lead will be joining at a pivotal time for the business, working in a newly created role, team structure and business model.
In a nutshell they need a People Ops whizz to come in and whip them into shape form the current reactive state to a smooth running, proactive operation! You will deep dive into all things HR ops as they are right now, take the function back to basics building back up to a state of operational excellence and high connectivity.
Working alongside 2 other People Ops Leaders globally, the EMEA region has c600 employees but super complex so you'll be used to navigating your way in similar global, matrix structures. Initially managing a team of 2, you'll also leverage support from the wider People team and work closely with MD's and business leaders.
Although a ftc initially, there is huge opportunity in the business as they globalise the people operations function, its highly likely that this role will remain as part of the future team
Ideal candidates will have worked in a similar remit, taking a HR Ops function through this type of journey. The right person will thrive in an ambiguous, fast moving creative environment, be an amazing problem solver, and a systems and data guru!
Key must haves…
- EMEA experience, particularly UK, France and Germany
- Leadership level HR Operations exposure
- HRIS implementation experience
- Governance and compliance expertise
- High level problem solving and prioritisation skills
