The Performance team provides an essential service in quantifying and explaining what returns have been delivered and how. Our team produces standard performance, attributions, and client reports to meet daily, monthly, and quarterly deadlines and is involved in developing and delivering performance & attribution reporting to be utilized by investment professionals, product teams and external customers. The successful candidate will: (role responsibilities)Daily and monthly calculation of performance returns across Fixed Income fundsDeliver performance, attribution and ex post risk statistics for Fixed Income fundsProvide detailed explanations to fund managers on performance numbers, with a strong focus on fixed income attribution numbersMaintain strong relationships with the fund managers and fixed income investment specialistsEnsure that queries are investigated appropriately and resolved within specified timeframesProvide training, guidance and support to junior team members Experience & Qualifications:3-5 years’ experience within the asset management industry in a performance measurement roleStrong working knowledge of Fixed Income AttributionDetailed understanding of underlying analytics used to drive attribution resultsUnderstanding of a wide range of instrument types would be advantageous, including derivativesExperience of Aladdin application is preferredStrong working proficiency in ExcelWorking knowledge of VBA and SQL is preferredBNY Mellon is an Equal Employment Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
