Job Description
Our client, a specialist independent Lloyd’s Broker, is looking for an experienced Professional Indemnity (PI) Broker and Account Handler.
The purpose of the role is to play a key role in achieving agreed PI Department forecasts, plans, targets and budgets for the development of existing and new customers. To Broke and Account Handle both New Business and Renewals for Professional Indemnity, Directors and Officers (D & O) and Cyber through all stages of the policy lifecycle, including broking risks directly into Lloyd’s of London and composite insurers where necessary in person or electronically.
In order to be considered for this position you will have:
• A good standard of education (i.e., A Level or equivalent to include English and Maths) or enough experience in a previous role to demonstrate suitable skills.
• Extensive previous experience in Professional Indemnity broking working with both large and small clients.
• Experience of working to multiple priorities and across a range of tasks.
• Experience of working within the Lloyd’s / London Market.
• Strong Market contacts.
• Design & Construct Professional Indemnity experience.
In addition, CII qualifications to a Cert CII level and previous experience with Acturis and PPL would be desirable.
