Senior Power Electronics Engineer – Inverters
We seek a highly skilled and motivated Senior Power Electronics Engineer who will play a crucial role in our client-established technology company. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in power electronics, specifically with a focus on BLDC (Brushless Direct Current) motors and Inverters (DC/AC) from 1kw to 30kw
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop power electronic systems for BLDC motors and inverters.
- Conduct system-level design, including circuit design, system integration, and design verification testing.
- Perform simulations and analysis of power electronic circuits and systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure products meet performance, cost, and reliability requirements.
- Provide technical support for manufacturing, quality, and customer service teams.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in power electronics and implement them in product designs.
- Inverter thermal modelling
To be considered for this opportunity, you will need a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a related field and the following:
- Proven experience in designing and developing power electronic systems, specifically BLDC motors and inverters.
- Strong knowledge of power electronic devices, magnetic components, and control systems.
- Proficiency in using simulation tools such as MATLAB, Simulink, or similar.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
