Ideal Candidate
We are looking for a sharp and hungry Pricing Analyst who is looking to grow their career. You will be tasked with using various research and analytical tools to produce analysis and recommendations for company product pricing strategy. You will have a significant business impact, advising on how products should be priced to drive sales and company profitability, whilst staying highly competitive in the market. This is a dynamic role providing an outstanding opportunity to grow with a hyper growth business. The ideal candidate:
- 3+ Years experience of working as a Pricing Analyst within a commercial setting
- Proven experience of using SQL and excellent Excel skills
- Strong educational background ideally with a numerically focused degree / A levels
- Demonstrates advanced ability in the implementation and use of various retail software solutions
- Commercially astute individual with a keen interest in business
- Works well under pressure and enjoys getting things done with speed
- Thrives on taking responsibility and initiative, possessing the autonomy to make informed decisions whenever needed
- Loves learning and is curious about continuous improvement. Able to seek out and implement relevant feedback from colleagues.
Main responsibilities
- Pricing strategy development - Conduct regular analyses on price elasticity of out top SKUs to determine the best price points which optimise for both revenue growth and margin
- Optimise processes - work with 3rd party softwares to automate price matching and processes. Develops analytical tools to understand how new initiatives impact pricing promotion and other merchandising levers that drive top and bottom line, traffic, conversion, and loyalty.
- PPC - Liaise with PPC team to optimise prices and campaigns for revenue and profit growth
- Data visualisation and reporting - work with data team to manipulate and present data. Monitor sales performance and identify revenue opportunities using our extensive reporting suite alongside Google Analytics.
- Team building - lead and own the newly formed division of pricing within Healf
