With an impressive leadership team from notable FinTechs, this mobile first FinTech is on a mission to free freelancers, contractors, and small business owners from the hassles of financial admin.
Role Overview:
Looking for an a Senior Product Designer to join our team and lead the design efforts for their groundbreaking fintech product.
As the sole designer on a cross-functional team, you’ll collaborate closely with Product Managers and engineers, driving the entire design lifecycle from research and discovery to rapid product improvement and feature releases. You'll have significant autonomy while being supported by an experienced Head of Design.
What You’ll Do:
- Discovery & Research: Understand user needs and pain points, work with stakeholders on product direction, and collaborate with engineers on feasibility.
- Ideation & Exploration:Facilitate workshops, create user journeys, wireframes, mockups, and prototypes, and integrate team feedback.
- Customer Experience: Enhance our visual language and design system, conduct user testing, plan iterative releases, and ensure consistent, branded experiences.
About You:
- Experience: 4+ years in UX/UI design for digital products, with a strong academic and professional background, ideally working in FinTech, Financial services or similar products.
- Skills: Proficiency in Figma and Adobe CS, expert knowledge of mobile UI, responsive design, and accessibility standards.
- Attributes: Self-motivated, empathetic, detail-oriented, and comfortable with ambiguity. Strong communicator with a knack for simplifying complex problems.
- Background: Experience working in start-up or scale-up environments would be advantageous as would 4+ working in FinTech, Financial services or similar products.
