Senior Project Engineer - Solar PV & BESS
A Renewable energy developer are looking for a Senior Project engineer with renewable energy experience to support and supervise a range of design services for their portfolio of Solar PV and battery storage projects.
The successful candidate will provide expertise across all phases of an asset lifecycle from acquisition through to commercial operations of a portfolio of projects.
You will require experience of and expertise in the development, pre-construction and construction phases of utility-scale PV and BESS projects in the UK.
What will you be involved in / working on?
- Pre-planning assessments of PV and BESS construction feasibility.
- Grid connection construction feasibility
- Management of design processes to support planning
- Design and engineering management - EPX, ICP contractors and OEMs.
- PV, BESS and HV plant technology
- Working with a multidiscipline team of technical, commercial and legal participant.
- You will be a core member of the team who will contribute towards the growth of the business.
Requirements:
- Degree level qualified within STEM.
- Experience within utility-scale renewable energy projects
- Experience within Solar PV and/or BESS
- Understanding and knowledge of regulations and codes around utility scale Solar PV and BESS Projects.
- Strong project management skills.
