Crux Product Design is an ambitious, growing consultancy looking for a talented Senior Project Manager to take on a senior position within our existing project management team in Bristol. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to further their career and work on some of the world’s most exciting product development projects. In this role, you will work with our multi-disciplinary design and engineering teams to lead and manage the development of medical and consumer goods devices, from concept through to production. Check out what our Project Management team is all about: Crux – Project Management Managing multiple design and development projects, ranging from initial concept, product definition, design & development, and transfer to manufacture Leading and working with the project teams to solve challenging design, mechanical engineering, electronics, and software challenges Providing programme management activities for large client accounts and client partnerships Line management of other members of the Project Management team to ensure successful delivery of their projects under these client projects and partnerships Ensuring goals are met in areas including customer satisfaction, safety, quality and team member performance Managing project timelines, budgets and risks Managing, allocating and approving resource for projects, and managing interdependences between projects Managing relationships with our clients, building trust and collaboration Capturing business opportunities from ongoing client project activities Creating and reviewing project proposals/quotations including defining project schedules and budgets A minimum of 5 years’ project management experience, managing medical device design and development projects A project management track-record gained within a highly technical and team-oriented environment Strong organisational and time management skills with experience of formal project reporting Experience of planning multiple parallel tasks and defining project scope, goals and deliverables Ability to track project progress and deliver projects on-time and to budget Strong stakeholder management experience across all levels of seniority Line management experience An industry recognised Project Management qualification or certification Crux are world-leaders in the design, simulation and analysis of medical devices and consumer products; working as a trusted partner to many medical companies and household brand names, our projects touch lives by delivering a vast array of products to global markets.
