We're seeking a passionate and experienced Senior Protein Scientist to join our dynamic team and take an active role in the technology transfer and development processes.

The Senior Protein Scientist will conduct laboratory experimentation to support the Technology Transfer, Development, and Siting of new GMP processes. This role is essential to ensuring our manufacturing operations meet the highest standards while adhering to customer requirements and regulatory compliance. Key Responsibilities:

Laboratory Work:

• Design and execute experiments and analyses as guided by project leads, ensuring effective technology transfers and the development of robust manufacturing processes.
• Document laboratory work meticulously in standard notebooks and prepare results for technical reports while adhering to all relevant procedures.
• Maintain professional communication with clients as necessary.

Quality Assurance:

• Follow established laboratory procedures to execute work safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.
• Adhere to protocols and procedures to uphold best practices.

Manufacturing Support:

• Collaborate with technical personnel across Process Development, Analytical Development, Quality Control, and Manufacturing to support development projects.
• Provide technical support for initial manufacturing operations, troubleshoot any scaled-up processes, and address immediate manufacturing challenges.

Housekeeping and ESH:

• Ensure the development laboratory maintains compliance with safety and hygiene standards.
• Uphold COSHH regulations and conduct risk assessments as required.

Training and Mentorship:

• Train new or less experienced staff on laboratory procedures and equipment operation to foster a knowledgeable and competent team.

Critical Tasks:

• Meet project timelines consistently.
• Ensure the integrity of raw data and analytical interpretations.
• Identify opportunities to enhance efficiency, cost control, and safety in the development pipeline.

• Qualifications:

  • Ph.D. in Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, or a related field with extensive experience in ADCs.
  • Proven experience with Akta technology or comparable ADC platforms.
  • Strong understanding of GMP processes and regulatory requirements in a laboratory setting.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a collaborative mindset.

  • Contribution to development projects through experimental efforts and data compilation.
  • Compliance with operational and environmental, safety, and health (ESH) guidelines.
