Founded in 2007our client is one of the fastest growing banks of their kind in theUK. They offer personal and corporate savings products and finance forUK residential and commercial property, in addition to sourcing andadvising on UK real estate investments.
Due togrowth within the business, they are now looking to acquire theservices of a Senior Prudential Risk Analyst.
Key responsibilities
Oversight of 2nd LoD across the bank’s key risks by performingfirm-wide risk management activities, including Risk Appetitedevelopment & monitoring.
Assist with capital adequacyreporting and stress testing.
Maintenance of the Bank’sregulatory documents (including ICAAP, RRP and Risk ManagementFramework).
Provide management information, reports andupdates on risk management dashboards to assist the Bank incontrolling its risk profile.
Conduct thorough assessments ofthe banks risk exposure by analysing financial statements, markettrends, regulatory requirements, and internal controls. Monitor andevaluate risk factors to identify potential threats and opportunities.
• Identify emerging risks and evaluate their potential impacton the banks business operations.
• Contribute to the design ofstress tests and scenario analysis and assist with running of such toaid in the preparation of regulatory documents.
• Assist in themaintenance of the Bank’s regulatory documents (Risk Appetite, ICAAP,and RRP).
• Support with the production, review and reportingof risk management information, including status of the risk appetitedashboard, to key stakeholders and committees across the bank.
Key Skills required
• Relevant experience within arecognised lending environment.
• Experience in contributingtowards completion of at least one regulatory document i.e. ICAAP,ILAAP, RRP
A working knowledge of UK banking regulations andrisk related standards and requirements;
Experience in atleast one of the following: credit, operational, market, and capitalrisk management.
