Senior Psychologist – HCPC
Children’s Care and Specialist Education
Up to £65k per annum + welcome bonus

Full Time (4 day working week, at 5 day pay rates!) or Part Time
Overview:
Compass Associates is excited to be collaborating alongside a renowned Childrens Care and Specialist Education provider. They have a portfolio of Residential Services, Specialist Schools and Activity Centres for children and young people with Autism and complex needs such as Emotional Behavioural Difficulties.
Together, we are looking for a Senior Psychologist to help oversee the therapy in a single-site role, based at a school which is brand new during the current academic year. The school provides education that caters to their specific needs, abilities and aspirations of pupils aged 11 – 18 who have Autism as their primary diagnosis.
You will be providing direct clinical work, assessment, supervision and training for a friendly therapeutic team including Assistant Psychologists and Trainee Psychologists with a common goal to make a difference on these children’s lives.
Work Pattern:
4 day working week (after passing probation), while being paid the normal 5 day rate!
Prior to passing probation, you will be managing your own diary, Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week.
Part-time applicants are also welcome.
Location:
The school is based in Worcester, and is commutable from Birmingham, Coventry, Royal Leamington Spa, Cheltenham, Gloucester, Hereford, Ludlow and other surrounding towns and villages.
Criteria:
- HCPC Registered as a Practitioner Psychologist (Clinical, Counselling, Educational and Forensic)
- Experience of providing therapy to a client group with autism as the primary diagnosis
Interview Process:
This will be a one-stage process with a panel including the Head of Clinical Operations for the region, held either in person or virtually.
Salary and Benefits:
