As a Senior QA Engineer at Qniverse, you will play a key role in defining and implementing our testing strategies, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and leading the QA efforts for complex software projects.
What You'll Be Doing!
- Participating in project scoping meetings to determine quality assurance parameters.
- Developing and evolving comprehensive test strategies aligned with project goals.
- Designing effective and thorough test cases covering functional, non-functional, and edge cases.
- Overseeing the execution of test cases, ensuring comprehensive test coverage.
- Strategic thinking to align QA efforts with overall project goals and objectives.
- Performing risk assessments to identify software quality threats and implementing prioritized testing efforts using risk-based testing approaches.
- Conducting analysis checks on product specifications.
- Creating/Reviewing Quality Assurance reports.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including Project Managers, development, and product management.
- Facilitating mentorship to the team in terms of QA activities when needed.
- Evaluating testing tools and technologies to determine suitability for organizational needs.
- Managing the defect life cycle by reporting, tracking, and validating defects.
- Sharing best practices, industry trends, and technical knowledge with the team.
Great, if you have...
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, product management, or a relevant field.
- Over 4 years of experience in the field.
- Managerial experience is preferred.
- High-level analytical skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities.
- Detail-oriented with effective project management capabilities.
- Team player with a positive attitude.
- Preference given to candidates with hands-on experience in the following areas:
- Performance (Load) Testing using JMeter.
- API Testing.
- Preference given to candidates with hands-on experience with automation testing tools.
- Hands-on experience in web application testing.
- Familiarity with systems like CRM, ERP, Microsoft Dynamics 365, or Salesforce will be an extra advantage.
