QA Analyst Permanent Position.

Our client is looking to take onboard a QA Analyst with both Front End & Back End experience.
Experience and qualifications in this area are a must.
Duties include-
- Test Planning: agreeing testing requirements and approach; writing test scripts for specific scenarios; validating the change delivered against requirements.
- Test execution: executing test scripts; documenting test activities in Test rail / Jira; reporting test activities
- Ensuring components and features are tested, and behave in a consistent manner, reviewing and analysing
- Raising, triaging and managing defects within our internal management system. Implementing and maintaining test cases.
- Quality focused and with a commitment to best practice.
- Excellent communicator with the ability to describe complex subject matter to internal and offshore teams.
Skills
- Experience testing web, desktop and/or mobile software
- Manual & Automation Testing
- Ability to prioritise based on project demands and risk
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to write clear test conditions / cases & analyse
- Knowledge of manual test techniques - test rail or equivalent
- Technical skills: Confluence, Jira, JavaScript, Python, Power BI, Soap UI, SQL, Postman, RESTful
- Working in phases of the test delivery life cycle including creation of Test Strategy / Plan documentation. Test Governance, Design, Estimation, Defect Triage, Defect Report, Execution, Test Progress Reporting and Test Closure
- Android and iOS familiarity & understand of APIs
- Websockets knowledge is desirable or equivalent i.e HTTP protocol
- Understanding concepts, architecture & frameworks
You will be required to attend the office in Basingstoke daily.
