Key accountabilities of this position include: Work collaboratively within Project Teams and the supply chain, delivering new build and re-kit projects.Contribute to a positive Quality Culture from Project Kick-Off to Handover with all stakeholders.Support to supplier mobilisation and integration post contract awardAct as the Intelligent Client representative for AWETask Managing, mentoring, training, and coaching Quality EngineersLead Quality at key stakeholder meetings including design and technical reviews.Deputising for the Senior/Principal Quality Manager when required.Review of supplier Quality Plans and support to wider project artefact reviewsConducting/leading internal project and supplier capability auditsLeading workshops to promote performance improvement.Presenting quality data to key stakeholders and for reporting metrics and KPIsLeading and planning supplier surveillance & Quality Control, e.g., ITPs and FAT activitiesManagement of NCRs using root cause analysis quality toolsFacilitating lessons learnt workshops.Seeking cost efficiencies and simplification opportunitiesManagement and review of Lifetime Records To be successful in this role you should have the following skills/experience: A proven track record of influencing and engaging with key stakeholders.Experience in construction, capital project delivery or engineering is required.Relevant BTEC HNC/HND or equivalent qualification and/or experienceMembership of a recognised related professional body, or working towards e.g., CQI / IRCAISO9001 Lead Auditor trained and relevant audit experience.Good knowledge of national and international quality standards, e.g., ISO9001, AQAP 2110Identifying and implementing opportunities for process and cost efficiencies/improvementsTechnical knowledge for high integrity structures, systems, and components The following skills and experience are desirable: Use of problem solving and improvement toolsWorking on a nuclear licenced site / within the nuclear industry or similar highly regulated industryExperience of a graded approach to quality, e.g., Quality Control Grade 1-5Working within an NEC framework for project delivery
