Madisons Recruitment are looking for a Senior Quantity Surveyor on a permanent basis located in Reading, Berkshire.
Our client are looking for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their rapidly growing team specialising in the supply and installation of suspended ceilings.
Responsibilities
- Managing and controlling all financial matters for live site projects
- Procurement of materials and plant suppliers along with subcontractors
- Responsibility of estimating services including Bill of Quantities production
- Dealing with all the measurements, valuations and agreements of work sections
- Working closely with the accounts department ensuring payments are made and chasing any outstanding payments
- Producing accurate internal cost reports
- Price tender submissions
- Meeting clients on a daily basis and attending site meetings
Requirements
- Previous experience required in the surveying industry
- Proven track record on profitable projects
- CSCS Card and SSTS will be an advantage
- Experience in different forms of contract will also be an advantage
- Strong communication skills
- Good IT skills
- Experience working within the drylining industry
