Job title: Senior Quantity Surveyor
Job Type: Permanent
Start date: ASAP – Subject to clearance
Duration: Permanent
Location: Bridgwater
Hours of work: 36.5 hours per week
Applicants must have experience of the following:
- A formal quantity surveying qualification
- Minimum of 5+ years working a similar role within the construction industry
- Experience working with JCT and NEC contracts
- Experience using cost management systems such as Navision, Oracle, SAP, ERP and Coins
- Proficiency with Microsoft Packages (Word, Excel)
Ideally applicants should also have:
- A relevant professional accreditation
Role information:
- Support the setting and implementation of commercial project strategies
- Ensure contractual obligations are fulfilled
- Advise directors on commercial and contractual matters
- Assist in the resolution of disputes
- Produce cost forecasts and reports
- Implement change management strategies and negotiate and agree project scope variations
- Implement the supply chain management plan
- Prepare monthly budgets and forecasts
