As a Senior Real Estate Secretary, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our partners and clients, handling various administrative tasks with precision and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute fast and accurate touch typing to transcribe legal documents, correspondence, and other materials.
  • Proficiently transcribe dictated material into written form, maintaining accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Demonstrate in-depth knowledge and experience in property and conveyancing procedures, including but not limited to drafting legal documents, managing contracts, and liaising with clients, agents, and other stakeholders.
  • Provide high-level administrative support to attorneys and senior staff members, managing calendars, scheduling appointments, and organizing meetings with efficiency.
  • Handle Land Registry applications and Stamp Duty processes accurately and efficiently, ensuring compliance with legal requirements and deadlines.
  • Assist in updating Companies House records and filings as required, maintaining accurate and up-to-date company information.
  • Perform standard secretarial tasks such as answering phone calls, managing emails, maintaining filing systems, and other administrative duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Proven experience as a Real Estate Secretary or similar role in a legal setting.
  • Proficient touch typing skills with a high level of accuracy.
  • Strong command of audio dictation software and transcription processes.
  • Extensive knowledge and experience in property and conveyancing procedures.
  • Familiarity with Land Registry applications and Stamp Duty processes.
  • Experience in updating Companies House records preferred.
  • Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks accordingly.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and other relevant software applications.
