As a Senior Real Estate Secretary, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our partners and clients, handling various administrative tasks with precision and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute fast and accurate touch typing to transcribe legal documents, correspondence, and other materials.
- Proficiently transcribe dictated material into written form, maintaining accuracy and confidentiality.
- Demonstrate in-depth knowledge and experience in property and conveyancing procedures, including but not limited to drafting legal documents, managing contracts, and liaising with clients, agents, and other stakeholders.
- Provide high-level administrative support to attorneys and senior staff members, managing calendars, scheduling appointments, and organizing meetings with efficiency.
- Handle Land Registry applications and Stamp Duty processes accurately and efficiently, ensuring compliance with legal requirements and deadlines.
- Assist in updating Companies House records and filings as required, maintaining accurate and up-to-date company information.
- Perform standard secretarial tasks such as answering phone calls, managing emails, maintaining filing systems, and other administrative duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Proven experience as a Real Estate Secretary or similar role in a legal setting.
- Proficient touch typing skills with a high level of accuracy.
- Strong command of audio dictation software and transcription processes.
- Extensive knowledge and experience in property and conveyancing procedures.
- Familiarity with Land Registry applications and Stamp Duty processes.
- Experience in updating Companies House records preferred.
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks accordingly.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite and other relevant software applications.
